Players are given 15 minutes during Deathmatch before the game ends automatically. Once the period ends, players can run to the center for resourceful chests while also attacking the other players in the arena. If the zombie is killed, the message will display " was killed while disconnected!” and the player's inventory will drop.ĭuring Deathmatch, players are all teleported to an arena and given a short grace period to stand in their individual areas. Players who disconnect from a game will appear as zombies with the same head and item held, and they can rejoin as long as their zombie is still alive. The border will start closing in rapidly and Deathmatch will start counting down from 35 minutes when the grace period ends, but will skip to 10 minutes if there are 15 players remaining. Once the grace period is over, players can attack and kill each other to obtain their heads, which can be eaten alone for Regeneration and Speed, used in profession crafting recipes, or upgraded to a Golden Head for more Regeneration and Speed. During the grace period, players cannot attack each other and must prepare by gathering resources. Players start off with two rows of health, their selected kit, and a 10 minute grace period.
